# Settings reference

Every ragebot setting a Lua can read or change, with its backend name, values and default.

Every setting in the menu has a **backend name** (`idx`). Read it with `api.ui.get(idx)`, change it with `api.ui.set(idx, value)`, and save a set of them as a preset with `api.ragebot.save_preset`. What each option actually **does** is explained in Config makers.

{% hint style="info" %}
Setting a dropdown to a value that isn't in its list is ignored. Sliders are clamped to their range.
{% endhint %}

## Ragebot

### General

| idx               | Type     | Values                                                   | Default   |
| ----------------- | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------- | --------- |
| `ragebot_enabled` | toggle   | `true` / `false`                                         | `false`   |
| `ragebot_keybind` | keybind  | read with `api.ui.element("ragebot_keybind"):GetState()` | —         |
| `ragebot_weapon`  | dropdown | `primary`, `secondary`, `melee`                          | `primary` |
| `fake_pos`        | toggle   | `true` / `false`                                         | `false`   |

### Weapon resolver

Only used when `ragebot_weapon` is `primary` or `secondary`.

| idx                   | Type     | Values                                                      | Default             |
| --------------------- | -------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------- |
| `ragebot_resolver`    | dropdown | `switch if no ammo`, `switch if no reserve`, `don't switch` | `switch if no ammo` |
| `ragebot_last_weapon` | dropdown | `none`, `melee`                                             | `none`              |

### Strafe

| idx              | Type     | Values                                                                                                                                                           | Default   |
| ---------------- | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------- |
| `ragebot_strafe` | dropdown | `default`, `glue flicker`, `orbital`, `spiral in`, `spiral out`, `oob baiting`, `smart oob baiting`, `underground`, `adaptive`, `wall break` + any custom strafe | `default` |

{% tabs %}
{% tab title="glue flicker" %}

| idx                      | Range          | Default |
| ------------------------ | -------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_flicker_glue`   | `0.01` – `1` s | `0.14`  |
| `ragebot_flicker_window` | `0.01` – `1` s | `0.16`  |
| {% endtab %}             |                |         |

{% tab title="orbital" %}

| idx                    | Range             | Default |
| ---------------------- | ----------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_orbit_radius` | `2` – `40` studs  | `10`    |
| `ragebot_orbit_speed`  | `0.1` – `250` rps | `2.4`   |
| {% endtab %}           |                   |         |

{% tab title="spiral in / out" %}

| idx                     | Range             | Default |
| ----------------------- | ----------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_spiral_radius` | `2` – `40` studs  | `10`    |
| `ragebot_spiral_speed`  | `0.1` – `250` rps | `2.4`   |
| `ragebot_spiral_rate`   | `0.05` – `50` rps | `0.5`   |
| {% endtab %}            |                   |         |

{% tab title="oob baiting" %}

| idx                           | Values                          | Default |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_oob_position`        | `top`, `down`, `left`, `right`  | `down`  |
| `ragebot_oob_position_offset` | `-10` – `10` studs (0.01 steps) | `0`     |
| `ragebot_oob_hold`            | `0.001` – `0.5` s               | `0.01`  |

You start 3 studs past the chosen edge; the offset moves you back toward the part. Hop rate (`ragebot_oob_hold`) is how long each random spot on the edge is held.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="smart oob baiting" %}

| idx                           | Range              | Default |
| ----------------------------- | ------------------ | ------- |
| `ragebot_smart_oob_prebait`   | `true` / `false`   | `true`  |
| `ragebot_smart_oob_distance`  | `0.1` – `50` studs | `3`     |
| `ragebot_smart_oob_release`   | `0.1` – `5` s      | `0.5`   |
| `ragebot_smart_oob_patience`  | `0.1` – `20` s     | `3`     |
| `ragebot_smart_oob_void_time` | `0.1` – `20` s     | `2`     |

Pre-bait guesses the spot, or goes to the previous spot if there is one. Threat distance is how close an enemy has to get to count as a threat. Patience and void time control how long it holds on before evading, and release delay is how long it stays before going back to normal.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="adaptive" %}

| idx                       | Range             | Default |
| ------------------------- | ----------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_adaptive_on`     | `1` – `10` frames | `2`     |
| `ragebot_adaptive_period` | `2` – `12` frames | `4`     |

Each cycle of **cycle frames** (`ragebot_adaptive_period`) spends **map frames** (`ragebot_adaptive_on`) on the enemy and the rest in the void. It only shoots on a map frame that follows another map frame, so `ragebot_adaptive_on` must be at least `2` for it to shoot. While the enemy is in the void it holds still at your real position and doesn't shoot.
{% endtab %}

{% tab title="wall break" %}

| idx                           | Range          | Default | Menu text      |
| ----------------------------- | -------------- | ------- | -------------- |
| `ragebot_wall_break_interval` | `0.05` – `2` s | `0.3`   | no cover retry |

Only shown while `wall break` is the selected strafe. Pair it with the **`manipulate`** shooting method.
{% endtab %}
{% endtabs %}

#### Void spam (orbital and spirals)

Shown for `orbital`, `spiral in` and `spiral out`.

| idx                           | Type   | Range                                                     | Default |
| ----------------------------- | ------ | --------------------------------------------------------- | ------- |
| `ragebot_default_void_spam`   | toggle | loop attack → void instead of always sitting on the enemy | `false` |
| `ragebot_default_void_time`   | slider | `0.01` – `1` s                                            | `0.1`   |
| `ragebot_default_attack_time` | slider | `0.01` – `1` s                                            | `0.15`  |

With void spam on, cycles: goes to the enemy and waits out your network ping without shooting, then shoots for **attack time**, then voids for **void time**, then repeats. It only ever fires during the attack time window. Off, it just stays on the enemy and shoots.

{% hint style="info" %}
`hitboxgluer` is now called `default`, and `hitboxgluer flicker` is now called `glue flicker`. The `hitboxgluer v2` and `hitboxgluer lite` strafe modes and their `ragebot_glue_distance` setting are gone from the menu — remove them from older configs.
{% endhint %}

### Shooting

| idx                     | Type     | Values                                                                                                           | Default   |
| ----------------------- | -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------- |
| `ragebot_shooting`      | dropdown | `hitscan`, `beam`, `force above`, `vector resolver`, `vector resolver v2`, `manipulate`, `none` + any custom one | `hitscan` |

| `ragebot_shoot_frames`  | slider   | `1` – `7` frames between shots (hitscan, beam, force above, manipulate)                                          | `1`       |
| `ragebot_shot_interval` | slider   | `0` – `500` ms (vector resolver, vector resolver v2)                                                             | `70`      |

`manipulate` and `vector resolver v2` ignore **los check**.

| -------------------- | -------- | ----------------------------------------------- | -------- |
| `ragebot_melee_mode` | dropdown | `normal`, `knife backstab`, `knife backstab v2` | `normal` |

Void spam only applies to `normal`.

## Everything else in the menu

The rest of the menu (aimbot, silent aim, esp, world, ...) isn't listed on purpose: ask the API instead with `api.ui.tree()`, `api.ui.list()` or `api.ui.where()`. It always matches the menu you have loaded, even after updates. See api.ui.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://scripter-sm.gitbook.io/elite-zone/api-reference/settings-reference.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
